In this video you'll learn how to:
- Create Cookie Consent Notice Banner with TermsFeed Free Cookie Consent Tool
- Edit Footer Configuration
- Flush Magento Cache so you can preview the banner
Note: In this example we've used Magento 2 (version 2.4.7), the open source version, installed on a Windows 11 machine.
Here are the instructions:

Go to our Free Cookie Consent Solution page to create the Cookie Consent code necessary to show the notice banner on your Magento 2 website.

Log in to the Magento dashboard. Go to Content and select Configuration:

Click Edit:

Scroll through the Default Store View all the way to the Footer section to open it:

In the Miscellaneous HTML field, paste the generated Cookie Consent Banner Notice code:

Click Save Configuration:

To see the cookie consent banner on your website, you'll need to clear the Magento cache. To do so go to System and select Cache Management:

The cache management list opens. The Configuration status is marked as Invalidated.
Here, the Refresh cache for the Configuration only is not enough, so you will need to click the "Flush Magento Cache" button to see the banner on your website:

Go to Admin and select Customer View to see the preview of your website store:
