The Cookie Consent kit in TermsFeed AutoTerms, the free WordPress plugin, shows a cookie banner and holds back each vendor script until its category is allowed to run. The kit loads TermsFeed Free Cookie Consent 4.2.0 from www.termsfeed.com in the <head> of every page of your WordPress website. The Cookie Consent script then draws the consent banner and the Preferences Center. Vendor scripts belong to the kit, and each one belongs to 1 of the 4 categories strictly-necessary, functionality, tracking, and targeting. With the default GDPR preference and the default page_load_consent_levels, only strictly-necessary scripts run before the visitor accepts a category. The kit is off after you install the plugin, and a turned-off kit prints neither the consent banner nor the vendor scripts.

The default Cookie Consent banner at the top of a blog post, with its heading, its message, and its 3 buttons

Open the kit from TermsFeed > Compliance Kits in your WordPress admin and click the "Configure" button in the Cookie Consent box. The kit settings sit on 3 tabs, each saved with its own "Save Changes" button.

Tab What it holds
"Customization" The Enabled checkbox, the Compliance preference, the look and language of the consent banner, the Preferences Center link, the Callbacks, Additional CSS, and a live Preview
"Vendor Scripts" The list of tracking, advertising, and other vendor scripts, each with its Name, Type, and code
"Configuration Parameters" The JSON object the plugin passes to the Cookie Consent script, with the 10 keys the plugin manages and any option you add

Turn the kit on and set it up so that, under the default GDPR preference, the Cookie Consent script holds back your optional vendor scripts. Start with the setup guide, then add each tracking script as a vendor script.
