Video: How to Add a Privacy Policy Page on Zoho Sites

In this video we'll show you how to:

1. Create a new Privacy Policy page for a Zoho Site
2. Create a new menu and add the new page to the menu
3. Add a menu to the website's footer

Let's get started.

Step 1. Create a new Privacy Policy Page

1. Log in to your Zoho Sites dashboard and go to your site:

   

2. Go to "Pages:"

   

3. Click the "Add Page" button (at the top right):

   

4. Type "Privacy Policy" in the "Page Name" field. The "Page URL" field will fill automatically:

   

5. Disable the "Add page to default menu" option. Reason: We'll create a new menu, so that this page will be added to the footer only.

   

6. Click "Save" (the button is at the bottom):

   

7. The new page editor opens. Delete the placeholder elements:

   

8. Click "Add element:"

   

9. Select the "Paragraph" element to add:

   

10. Delete the placeholder text:

    

11. Switch to the "Code" icon:

    

12. The new window will open. Add the HTML code of your Privacy Policy to it.

    If you do not have a Privacy Policy, you can use our Privacy Policy Generator and create it within minutes.

    Once you have the Privacy Policy created by TermsFeed, let's get the policy text. Under the Copy your Privacy Policy section, click on Copy this to clipboard:

    

13. Paste the code in the "Insert HTML" window:

    

14. Click "OK:"

    

15. Save changes:

    

16. Go to Preview to see changes:

    

17. The Privacy Policy page is displayed:

    

We've successfully created a new Privacy Policy page with your content through the Insert HTML code.

Now we need a menu for this page. Let's move to the next step.

Step 2. Create a New Menu - the Footer Menu

1. Go back to the dashboard. From "Configuration" options, select "Menus:"

   

2. Click the "Add Menu" button:

   

3. Name your menu. For example, "Footer Menu," and click "Save:"

   

4. Click the "Add Menu Item" button:

   

5. Select the Privacy Policy page and click "Save" (at the bottom):

   

6. Click "Save:"

   

We've successfully added the Privacy Policy page to the newly created Footer Menu. The next step is to add this menu to the website's footer. Proceed to the next step.

Step 3. Add the Footer Menu with the Privacy Policy page to the Website's Footer

1. Go to the Edit Site (at the top):

   

2. Click the "Edit Footer" button:

   

3. Add Section:

   

4. Switch to the "Elements" to add and select the "Menu" widget:

   

5. From the Menu Picker, select the "Footer Menu:"

   

6. The Privacy Policy page is in the Footer Menu. Click "Add" (at the bottom):

   

7. Adjust the Menu settings for your needs:

   

8. Save changes:

   

9. Go to Preview to see changes:

   

10. The Privacy Policy page is linked and displayed at the footer of your Zoho website.
