Pseudonymized data is data that has one or more of its data record fields replaced with an artificial identifier (a pseudonym) so it can no longer be easily used to identify an individual, yet can still be used in data processing and analysis.

Pseudonymized data can be un-pseudonymized if the artificial identifier is reverted back to its original form.
